Supreme Court Ruled That Tomatoes are Vegetables

According to the Amazing Fact Generator at mental_floss, the Supreme Court ruled that tomatoes are indeed vegetables.

Technically, green peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, and tomatoes are all fruits. But don’t try telling that to the U.S. Supreme Court. Per the 1893 case Nix v. Hedden, the court decided tomatoes were veggies and therefore subject to the vegetable tariff. The Supreme Court’s reasoning?
